Wine Review-Apothic Red Winemaker’s Blend 2008

Varietal: Blend of Syrah, Zinfandel and Merlot
Region: California

This is a red blend. I’ve really been enjoying the red blends lately. There are many red blends out there right now. I also like the gothic styled label on this wine. We tried this wine with grilled steak, veggies and homemade blueberry jam. It’s a good blend, which is very affordable, it’s a nice value with flavors of berry and vanilla but was a little heavy on tannins for me. I rated the wine 3.0 out of 5 stars.

Cost: $10.99
