Wine Review Barton & Guestier Cabernet Sauvignon Private Selection 2006

This is a good smooth cab, almost reminiscent of a merlot, with few tanins and no bite. It’s a good value for a French wine, under $10 and is a good table wine selection. There are notes of raspberry and red currants. We paired the wine up with a slow cooked beef roast, which paired really well. I’d give the wine 3 out of 5 stars.

Until next time, keep tasting!
