It’s been almost a year and a half since Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which adds to the frenzy of excitement surrounding the seventh installment in the series Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. This, the last book in the series, has been divided to be made into two full length movies, the first released November 19, 2010 and Part 2 coming out in July 2011. Harry Potter has been the most successful film franchise of all time. Each film has led Harry closer to the final battle with the evil Voldemort with each film being a little darker than the prior, earning Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 1 a PG 13 rating for intense action violence and frightening images. The film begins as our famous three, Harry, Ron and Hermione leave school and set out to find the remaining Horcruxes which hold Voldemort’s immortality, hence the tagline The Hunt Begins.
I have so enjoyed the Harry Potter series and can’t wait to see the last two film installments. I think I’ll feel as I did after reading the last book, a bit sad when it’s all over.
