Wine Review: Sandeman Porto Tawny

Sandeman’s Porto Tawny, or Tawny Port provides an excellent finish to a great meal. Served with desert, this port is a well balanced wine with hints of vanilla, dried fruit and oak and has a great taste. It’s been a favorite of ours for several years. There’s just something so civilized in the act of bringing out the small port glasses after a nice dinner and enjoying sips of an excellent wine, mingled with good conversation. Sandeman is imported from Portugal, Spain. The company has a long wine heritage since they have been making wine since 1790.

Rating: I rated this port 5 out of 5 stars.

Cost: Approx $15.00
