Royal Wedding

I must say I really enjoyed watching the Royal Wedding on BBC America. It was a great distraction, or guilty pleasure, if you will. I loved the use of the classic cars, which included several vintage models. I also enjoyed seeing the 1936 Cartier halo, which was given to the Queen on her 18th Birthday. The wedding dress was classic and gorgeous by Sarah Burton for the traditional British Design House of Alexander McQueen. In fact, with all the pomp and circumstance, or should I say in spite of all the pomp and circumstance, there was an atmosphere of classic, conservative tradition and it was all very lovely. Well played HRH duchess of Cambridge, well played!
