Today I’ve been getting back into the swing of things after being on vacation last week. We had a great week of vacation and got home in time to celebrate Mother’s Day with both of our mothers. Of course, I have tons of laundry to do, as well as, making plans to pick up a gallon of strawberries so I can make strawberry freezer jam tomorrow. I planted some pumpkin, cantalope, tomato and cucumber seeds and what I hope will be the beginnings of a decent herb garden. I planted one medicinal group of herbs and the other a tea based group of herbs, later I’ll plant my basil, lavender, and dill. Our other plants are doing quite well, we have several different kinds of squash, eggplant, cucumber and pumpkin plants. Hopefully, we’ll set those out in our garden soon.
