Tzatziki sauce is great on pita bread with grilled meat and veggies, raw veggies and pita chips, just to name a few. Here’s a quick and easy recipe:
1 (8 ounce) container plain greek yogurt
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
2 cucumbers – peeled, seeded and diced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
2 cloves garlic, peeled
In a food processor or blender, combine sour cream, cucumber, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, dill and garlic. Process until well-combined. Fold in greek yogurt and stir up well. Transfer to a separate dish, cover and refrigerate for at least one hour for best flavor.
