I love this little trick. Recently, I’ve accumulated several recipes which all list fresh green onions as an ingredient. I read an article a few days ago talking about which foods you can recycle from scraps and put in either dirt or water and keep them growing. I bought a bunch of organic green onions at my local market and after cutting off the tops for a recipe, I put the remainder in a glass of water on the windowsill. As you can see they’ve grown back in just a few days, amazing. Just change water every few days and these will supposedly keep regrowing from now on. They are mild and taste awesome. I love it!
