Autumn Equinox

The first day of fall 2013 is here. The season officially begins at 4:44 p.m. EDT during the autumnal equinox, when the sun crosses directly over the Earth’s equator and both day and night are equal. Fall lasts three months until the beginning of Winter on December 21. Last year we actually had snow in WNC on Halloween, school was cancelled that day, lol! Hopefully, it won’t be that cold here this year. These are just a few of the reasons I enjoy the Fall Season:
